Render alpha [solved with 3.6.23 beta]
Hi, i noticed a little issue when trying to render foreground alpha witch a black (0/0/0) diffuse material set to "invisible to camera" on my background object, it's just not rendered transparent but black.
as soon as i switch color to sth different it works perfectly as intended
best regards

Re: New features?
Another thing that would be great is the ability to export changes you've made in the Indigo GUI back to the exporter. thats a classic one, and the reason why I wasn't a big fan of GUI at all once it came up... I rather would like to see a RealTime render output inside the main 3D app instead, sinc...

Re: Romanesco
I tried to manage to create the shape with mograph turtle system first, but unfortunately i didn't manage to create it in a spherical or custom shape. In the end it worked out really well with xfrog plugin wich offers a solution for spherical phyllotaxis.

Hi guys, this is my contest entry on a german C4d board, topic was to show sth really small. Unfortunately I wasn't able to submit Indigo version on technical issues (my fault) so i had to submit a vray rendered version as final. Images look quite similar but i definetly prefer the Indigo version: s...

Re: Put it in the RAM
Using the c4d plugin already doesn't write to disk and uses RAM only For internal rendering yes... I usually still use the external version, since I can tweak parameters on the fly and take them over to C4D if they fit... Thats what i requested the Realtime Preview for Cindigo for ;) That would mak...

Re: Best hardware for Indigo, i5 vs i7, Quadro vs. GTX
Hey Silmä, sorry for the late reply! In general, you're completely right, and the local hardware store is wrong. A recent, overclockable i7 will most probably be the most bang for the buck and is the most important part of your new Indigo system. Don't get a quadro, for 99,99% of the applications i...

Re: Some renderings
Some rendered grass. I have been playing with the SurfaceSpread plugin in Cinema4D. Scene setup was fast, and the grass plants was rendered as instances. SurfaceSpread allows to scale and rotate the clones in a selectable random way. I enjoyed the very fast scene export from Cinema, and the almost ...

Re: ??? wip
thanks for the kind words. @galinette: yes, deformed glass and also double glazing is intended to make it as real as possible ;) unfortunately it costs a lot of of rendertime. I simply used an ISL noise in bump channel, as i instanced all the glasses they all have the same deformation, but i would h...
