Re: Random GPU progress pic thread
OpenCL 2.0 supports virtual memory, which would make CPU/GPU memory seamless and in theory support out of core rendering. Of course, it's not quite that simple, because in a path tracer like Indigo rays can bounce all over the place and touch potentially the whole scene's memory, meaning very slow ...

Re: Error: transformation matrix is not invertible
I have the same problem now in another scene.I tested the scene with cycles and vray and they are working fine. So I think its a bug in Indigo or the exporter.I hope this will be fixed in future builds. If someone would like to test it, I can upload the scene. But it's about 150mb,so please write. E...

It is a little bit weird, I only checked the normals and now it seems to work, thank you.

Error: transformation matrix is not invertible
Hello, have an error when I try to export a scene from blender, it seems that it is caused by a hair particle system which scatters a mesh on an other mesh (grass). When I have a low number of instances it works but when I set it to 200k instances the error occurs. Hope someone can help me to fix th...

Re: Random GPU progress pic thread
Will MLT be implemented later? Because most of my Interior scenes require MLT or Bidir at least . Would be very usefull to render them on my new amd readeon R9 390 8gb. When can we expect version 4?OnoSendai wrote:

Re: Mapping beveled curves from sapling addon
Hello afecelis, yes I tried to convert it to a mesh, but blender crashed by unwrapping it, maybe because of too many polygons? Now I tried 'The Grove 3D' addon and that works alright, but I think for someone who doesn't want to use a paid addon it would be useful to know how to use the sapling addon ...

Re: Mesh emitter + ies light possible?
If I understand your question right, I would say yes. Just apply the ies path to your mesh emitter.afecelis wrote: I'd like to know if it's possible to have both mesh emitters+ ies lights working together to simulate the circular spots on the floor

Proxy scale and rotation
Hello, I tried to use a proxy for an .igmesh and the rendered object was scaled by 100 and rotated 90° around the x axis. Can someone explain me why, and how I can change that, exept of rotate and scale the proxy object?

Re: IndigoMax 0.4.1
Hello subpixel, the first time I tried indigoMax I had no problem, then I started testing a bit with a simple scene with a box and a teapot and changed the evironment settings. Then, when I opened the material editor and tried to create a new material max crashed. Now max crashes every time when I t...
