Re: Adding a second GPU

Ok guys! I added the second video card (turned out to be a GTX950, and not a GTX480.....), and a second screen! It's very cool! I had to connect the second screen to the 950 because I haven't the right adaptor. Is there a way to monitor the contribute of each video card to the calculation? Just to k...

Adding a second GPU

Hi to all! I have a little help to ask you guys, since I'm no hardware expert. I'd like to add a second GPU to my recently-bought pc, which mounts: CPU (Processor):Ryzen 7 1700X 8x 3.40GHz (YD170XBCAEWOF) Mainboard:B350 MSI Tomahawk (7A36-002R) Video Card (VGA Card):Zotac GeForce GTX 1070 ...

Re: OpenCL, sun-sky and emitters

Thanks for the latest version.

I noticed there's a light leak at the base of the geometry, when using openCL rendering.

Raising the models up 1mm didn't solve the issue

OpenCL, sun-sky and emitters

Hi to the dev team. I'm really liking the GPU calculation method :D :D :D :D Working with it, I noticed that there is a light layer assignment issue when working in a scene in which sun-sky system is used for global lighting and some emitters are present. In particular, the sun light is assigned to ...

Hey Lal-O! The architectural concept is very very good!
...maybe a little too minimal, from an archviz point of view ahahahahahaha

This kind of rendering must introduce a lot of small details in order not to look fake....

Re: ...idea for SkIndigo models easy sharing...

Sam, I am a little in a rush here so I can reply shortly, sorry for this, I will come back later for sure. Using your example, a cool water pool can be easily done and shared. User A just has to prepare a closed cube. The applied material must have displacement active (with the shader given in the t...

Issue with sun/sky, emitters and OpenCL ON

Hi guys! I get weird results when using the sun/sky method along with the GPU mode, when in my scene there are ALSO emitters. Seems like the sun is then replicated into each of the emissive light layers... Am I doing something wrong? PS. when splitting sun and sky (not using emitters btw), instead t...
