Re: Indigo Renderer 4.0.43 Beta Release
Hi, It is not critical, but I found a new stuff yesterday. I use the RanchComputing renderfarm. They use 3.8.23. So I have to use this version on my workstation to be able to create 3.8.23 pigs files. With the installation of 4.0.43 in an other location, the pigs files from 3.8.23 create background ...

[Req] Save items like material (.igm)
Hello there, I think it could be interesting to be able to save any element of the property Editor list as an .igs file, like for the materials. For example, in my workflow I save the viewpoint dirrectly a file and then I select the viewpoint by an include. (copy-paste it from the entire scene in a ...

Hi Antonis,
Could you explain how did you obtain this nice spectral glare?
I really like this!

Re: Indigo Renderer 4.0.38 Beta Release
Thank you for your react.
So I removed the software and I re-installed it and now everything seem ok for that side.
Very bizarre!
I have a kind of side effect maybe, something new: (see picture below)
Then know that if I load an old igm file I have absolutly no problem.

Re: Backside Fiberglass
unfortunately this material doesn't use a phong, there is absolutly no "exponent" parameters in the code except for one of the blend texture used.
My question is more about the "feeling" than the way to do that with indigo.

Re: Indigo Renderer 4.0.38 Beta Release
Something very annoying: On this version, if I load a file through File-->Open, so the render start automaticaly. And I have to wait before click on "pause". And sometime I have to wait for a looong long time. This is new, and particulary useless. If you want to keep the sofware like that, please ke...

Re: into the wild
Fun! I understand that you have scattered the rocks on the ground surface. But could you explain if the "ivy" come from a scater on the rock, dirrectly with Indigo's xml, or if that ivy come from the rocks models. (a "rock igmesh" composed by a rock+some ivy). Because the result on the foreground is...

Re: Indigo Renderer 4.0.38 Beta Release
The light come from the windows I suppose, did you use an portal for that?
I have exactly the same kind of scene (interior but with a high level of exterior light).
On my scenes, I know that a indigo sun & sky create less noise than a HDRI.
my 2 cents...

Backside Fiberglass
Hello there,
What do you think about this one?
I would like to make this kind of material that you can found under a boat hull or a space-age design furniture.
I am not sure about the chair.. perhaps something wrong about the level of SSS (and spp), it seems to clear for me, and not shiny as well.

[Test] Broken glass
Hello there, I just tested here 2 embedded quads spaced by 6mm One have a displacement material of a bit more than 6mm to be able to broke it :D So basically I have one face totally plane, and one face displaced. My goal was to minimise the RAM used by Indigo to have details for the displacement map...
