i usually render for around 4 hours at super high resolution (2000x3000), then i resize the image and the noise is barely visible (e.g if someone didnt know i had rendered in indigo, they would think i used yafray.

in reply to zsouthboy, i think one could have certain predefined values for the region rendering. instead of doing <region>456 345</region> one might able to do <region>UPPERLEFT</region> or <region>1 3</region> where the number 1 would represent the x coordinate if the image where divided into 8 pa...

i would really like the plug in and resume function, since i have an iPod shuffle (basically a flash drive with a play, pause, fast fordward, rewind button). usually i must resort to emailing myself the xml file and completely rendering it at school( i am like the 'teachers pet' in my computer class...

not sure, but one image seems to be bigger in file size than the other, might be better image quality in one than the other. again, not sure.

silverman is right. you must apply modifiers such as subsurf, lattice, mirror, etc. before exporting to indigo. or else they wont show up

695420 tri's, 156 MB scene file, rendered perfectly well on a Pentium4 3.02GHz with only 512 MB RAM. So it seems werid that a 56 MB file on a 2GB RAM machine woulnt work.

looks nice
I cant really complain as i havent used indigo for very long (about 4 hours sicne i knew wtf it was).
But suggestions: Make the water a bit transparent, looks kinda unnatural if its opaque (unless that was the desired effect...)
