Re: Return of the King (nsfw)

Borgleader, I hope you are right that the game will impress. Duke Nukem 3D was and is still one of my favourite games I played. But my feeling when I see the movie is that they wont to make some money without focusing on the game. Anyway I will believe that DNF is for real when you are able to buy it.

Re: Marionette Dr. Steampunk

Thanks I also planned an animation of it when I get a new I7 2600K. Then I would be able to render an image less than an hour. @hcpiter: You mean the shin on the left from viewers position? It just looks like it is streched, the unwrap is ok. Its the behaviour of the texture. But you are right I wou...

Re: Lighting/modeling Exercise

@Pibuz: Here is the workflow Im doing at the moment with blender. Unfortuantely there is no working blendigo for blender 2.5 because the python api is changing every release which makes it hard to keep blendigo updated at the moment. So I have blender 2.5 and 2.49 installed, working in 2.5 creating ...

Re: BWC 2010 sponsoring

Well I don't have a absolute favorite, but images which need to be mentioned are "Whiskers Of Fury" which fits to the topic, yours and "World of parabolas" for technically/realism section, "Nighthawks" technically/lighting and "Entrapment" is quite funny but not that a good render. The contests 2007...

Up to 10 times faster would be heavy.

Thanks Zom-B that would be really nice if you could do that.

cheers

Re: BWC 2010 sponsoring

Yes its a nice render dakiru, congratulation. But I think it should also be said that your image doesn't fit to the contests topic of a "stop motion film" ... "hand made scale..." ... "in a fun and quirky way". Anyway it isn't really problematic because most of the entries doesn't fit to the topic. ...

Render Speed comparison (I7 2600K)
