Re: box + displacement map problem
I use to solve this problem by rounding the box cornes, even if its very few ,and smooth the edges . So when I click one face of the cube all the faces are selected as 1 texture instead of 6. Try it and post some images.. :) thx for the tip. I'll try this. so it's only a question of modeling techni...

box + displacement map problem
Hi, when i apply material with displacement map to a cube, as a result i got six planes moved along its normals and not connected (so it's not a cube anymore) Shoulden't the shader displace only non-black areas of a displacement map instead of all surface? Is it a normal behavior or am i doing somet...

Re: Network rendering stopped working?
Hi, I've noticed same problem once. I don't know the reason, but surely it happens when you try to render something previously beeing rendered. Maybe it's non-professional method but try to delete scene from the slave (path is given in your report), and then run the slave mode. This way slave comput...

Hi,
just for the record: IMHO using usb memory for this purpose is pointless. Flash memory is too slow and doesn't like constant wrinting/reading (it makes its life muuuch shorter)

Re: Error trying to save rendered image
To fix this just delete the file extension and use the drop-down to select a new one. thx! Your tip to do it manually works, although in my case situation is a little bit diffrent. 1. I enter file name without an extention in save dialog box and i chose igi from the drop down menu. file is saved as...

Re: Error trying to save rendered image
Hi, I didn't notice problem mentionen by EDS, there is some issue with saving though. When i save render as f.e. 'scene.igi' and then try to save also 'scene.jpg' i got overwriting warning. It works only when i change one of the name to f.e. 'scene1' or change destination folder of one of above file...
