heres another quick render with different lighting, oh and subsurf on :) I think the red sss might be a bit strong, the skin looks a bit too red.

Yes it does look nicer with higher polys, its also showing some banding over the eyes. I have done a couple of renders with subsurf on and it does look beter. I haven't really done anything with the eyes yet, just basically as they materials were when I brought it into blender. I do have hi res text...
