Re: residential building with office
hi lape, I think you already did great work on rendering part!!! but to my opinion your image looses lot of reality with the wrong sized 2D people. I've done this little sketch for you, to understand my point if you're using a camera perspektive on eye level, your people shouldn't be taller than you...

Re: Indigo Renderer 3.6.8 Beta Release
Finally found the time to test network rendering :D:D:D:D gigabit throughtput works like a charm now, didn't even dream of making 120mb/s :D though i have little drawback, you obviosly changed sth in the clients log file... it's a little view information now... liked to see the rendered samples/s pl...

Re: Simple Interiors Thread
thanks for the kind words foxar rendermode was PT+BiDir I tried this mode with exit portals before but somehow it turned out that the glossy reflections cleared even slower compared to not using exit portals I thought about about using gpu acceleration but the heavy subdiv for displacement and big ...

Re: Indigo Renderer 3.6.7 Beta Release
I hit on some problems when fooling around with network rendering: - file throughput to a Windows master is ridiculously slow, though gigabit network - "wait for slave frames" doesn't stop client rendering after last frame - there's no kind of remote control of clients used, start/stop manually - no...

Re: Simple Interiors Thread
finally found the time to do some improvements on my latest image. - added displacement to the wall material - refined floor material to non-tiling - corrected mounting of the handrails (thx pibuz for mentioning) to the image: rendered for about 38h to 10kspp .... and still so much grain on the meta...

Re: Are You The New Scene Maker For Upcoming Movie?
no real connection to indigo exporter, this should be in off topic. To your request: maybe you could paint my house and if it's good I'll show pictures to friends of mine and maybe i'll pay for the next job in 10-20years. sorry but it's ridicoulus to expect professional help for nothing, you should ...

Re: Network Rendering, Stop Slaves on Stop
Also another issue that I assume is related: When I set a Halt SPP the master stops when it achieves this, but network slaves keep working, forever. I assume they keep uploading frames, as I set a Halt SPP of 6,000 but ended up getting over 17,000... I can confirm that the caterpillar test scene be...

Re: Simple Interiors Thread
Thanks for your hints pibuz, really appreciate it! I already had map in exp channel to show some nice reflections but i'm still struggling with the new exp values since updated. what do you guys recommend for IOR and exp for this kind of concrete? current setting for the wall is IOR 1.2 and 80(b) in...

Re: Material Preview
mat preview for emission materials is hard to manage cause they've all different light intensities. maybe you could get over it by creating your own mat preview scene with indigo cam tag in it. aluminium mat looks black cause the current preview scene has no good environment to show in reflection. g...
