Re: Chocochoc's Architecture WIPs
Hey guys, Here a new update, the scene didn't progress, it's still empty and composed with dummies, however, I felt I caught good shots so here they are. I won't hide I'm very proud of that one where you can see the scene through the reflexion of the bulb. You can find the original light model here ...

Re: Chocochoc's Architecture WIPs
Hey Pibuz, Yes the water is seeable from under the pool, like in that house Rem Koolhaas made in France. I posted some sketchup shots from under on my website, but since it's not rendered I didn't put it here ! For now the water is very dark (I used the skindigo preset) and I didn't model the waves ...

Re: Chocochoc's Architecture WIPs
Hi guys, I'm working on a new scene, and I wanted to wait till it's a bit finished before showing it, but after all there would be no reason to post in WIP if so. This is a very early shot, with low poly dummies and missing stuff. However I already configured the global light and that's mostly what ...

Re: unefficient lights
Just wanted to let you know I found the lumen story, but it was already set by default.
Anyway, by setting up the base emission settings I found a gain input I maximized and....tadam I can make my lights brighter than the sun :p
Thanks for your help !

Re: unefficient lights
Hey CTZn :) I'm sorry but I'll be noobing it from the beginning to the end : -I couldn't find some "scene info panel" and I couldn't know how much triangles I have. -In the emitters attribute I can chose the layer, the base emission color (I can chose blackbody, RGB, tabulated etc) but nothing named...

unefficient lights
Hi all, I got a problem which certainly has a "tip" solution : When using lights with small sufaces, even if I boost the power like crazy, my little spotlights are far too weak to light a room and only appear as little white dots : If I use the same setting on a large plane, then it works better.......

Re: Chocochoc's Architecture WIPs
Talking about langage, I'm from Paris as well :) But let's keep it in English since we are talking on a public place :p I'm an old timing amateur. I used indigo to render my architecture school projects since something like v0.7 but since I was always running after my deadlines I never had the time ...

Re: Chocochoc's Architecture WIPs
Thanks for your support :) CTZn> I'm sorry I don't know "tadly" = "a bit" ? Yeah I can space the two furnitures, but the scene will become more rectangular since it's already larger that it's heigh :o However, your opinion is welcome ! I always say I don't need to know how to make cakes to give my o...

Re: Chocochoc's Architecture WIPs
Ok Guys,
Thanks for answers, then here a squared-not-filled-with-stuff version.
Too bad I had to cut off most of the blue shadow mass.

Re: Chocochoc's Architecture WIPs
Hi guys :) yeah flying architecture is an amazing website ! I like n°3 because the lights has some presence. However I'll go for n°1 ! since you two seem to vote for it. OnoSendai answered me on a topic I made in the indigo help etc...the AD problem is due to memory :( I knew I should have got 16 GB...

Re: Glare problems
Hi OnoSendai,
Here the log :
"ERROR while performing aperture diffraction: Failed to allocate buffer."
So I guess that's it....I knew I should have taken 16 gb of Ram !

Glare problems
Hi, I'm experiencing problems with aperture diffraction. I compute one scene at different resolutions, 2554 x 1240 works http://moubine.free.fr/glare.jpg 5108 x 2480 there is no glare at all and the aperture diffraction checkbox doesn't change a thing to the image: http://moubine.free.fr/noglare.jpg...

Re: Chocochoc's Architecture WIPs
Hi hemantchhabra, Thanks, well the images took a very long time to bake...maybe because my scene was overloaded with various stuff...Or maybe cause of some buggy geometries I don't really know. I have a very good processor (I7 2600k) and 8GB of RAM. I don't use GPU in those renders...because everyti...
