Re: INDIGO 4
I do do get a sense that indigo'a greatness is being hidden under its ui. Material blending is pure awesome joy but i feel like it could be approached in a more elegant way. Material icons could be dragged on top of one another another for a more natural feel. Blends could be shown via stacking of m...

Re: INDIGO 4
Really, I would argue that offering a consistent experience, regardless of what exporter you use will help peoples work flow a lot . As a user of the sketchup expoerter, ive had to go back and forth between indigo and sketchup quite a bit. And, as there is no way to save render settings (eg camera s...

Re: INDIGO 4
I feel like ui improvements could help speed things up maybe but as much as 50% of what the gpu stuff could do. It would really help our workflow.

Re: My suggestions
Some more ideas that i was thinking about last night.. :) 1 - Was dwelling on the issue of color and i thought about a color system that mimicked the way paints are mixed. What about an additive color system of some sort? You know where add more red or green or something. Are there plans to revamp t...

Re: My suggestions
Might have already mentioned this but the word "scale" appears twice in the texture editor. What about an option to fix floating objects. Shouldnt be too difficulty to "guess" when an object is supposed to be sitting on top of another. Sure, getting this right in app is great but there will always b...

Re: Fast SSS preview
What's wrong with the "Gain" slider? Ah, nice catch didnt see that. :) But imho, adding sss still takes too many clicks. I would like to see it as a property for phong materials maybe. The way it is right now, we have to adjust not only the sss but the blend of the material to get the look we want....

SreckoM, we are from the same city, man! How strange, two people from Serbia, admiring awesome engine, wishing it was more known! Pure brilliance. But there is something here....when I was a little boy, still in elementary, we were learning about Descartes. The teacher said something that will rema...
