SkIndigo FAQ
I'll be adding to this over time: Why does my glass render black? Indigo requires glass to be modeled as a volume. Make sure of the following: - glass is modeled as a volume (or box for windows) - faces are oriented correctly - the front side of the face should point outwards - make sure that the Sk...
Re: Materials
Hey guys,
I am hoping to allow user-defined material presets and librairies in the next major update.

Re: png image render problem
No, Indigo supports PNG transparency.
Try adding the PNG image as an external texture (change the albedo to 'Texture' and browse for the PNG file)
Are you sure this isn't a GIF? I am surprised it did not work.

Re: Error reading end tag
I renamed the file and added .XLS at the end, Excel opens it as text, dropped down to row 2538. I'm not sure how I'm supposed to read the columns, but line (row) 2538 reads as follows: <name>NULL_<Beige>1_NULL</name> Any ideas? Or am I going about it wrong? Hi Juju, Are you using the SkIndigo 'Thin...

Re: SkIndigo 3.4.4b
I'm still having some troubles when specifying a new path for invalid referenced textures.. I reported this some time ago but never got the same issue (maybe I never got the chance to..): the main problem is that if I point to a texture which has the same name as the previous, not found, even if in...

Re: SkIndigo 3.4.4b
Anyone else having trouble with the latest SkIndigo for Mac? I cannot a) get the material presets window to open and b) switch between UI's (so, alas, no sliders for me). What OS? What version of Safari? What version of SU? I don't think I changed anything in SkIndigo that would affect the Mac this...

Re: How to Export SketchyPhysics Animation
1. You need to have SketchyPhysics3 installed and be on a Windows platform. 2. IMPORTANT: For every object that you wish to animate, you have to rick-click and ENABLE INSTANCING (This requirement will hopefully be eliminated in a future release). You can also select a group of objects and right-cli...

Re: SketchUp to Indigo issue
Hi! Thanks for help :) Both programs run properly and are placed in the right locations, but nothing seems to happen when I try to run the "Render Scene" or the "Set Indigo Path" actions. :S Please open the Ruby Console window when you are attempting to render and let me know if you find any error ...

Re: SkIndigo 3.4.4b
I usually name materials in order to avoid name conflicts. In this specific case, I just let the original mesh names, which were numeric codes (this isn't my favourite worflow but I was testing other things). This isn't the first time it occurs to me, so I don't think I'm doing something wrong, rea...
