Re: About 10 Indigo lifetime licences left
...and again Ben you may want to update the front page. In fact at this point in the game you might want to update it for every sale :)

Re: The renderer's Mac?
I really don't want to get into another justify-the-price-of-a-mac war but let me just say this. That is including a 3 year full support and replacement warranty and that is a 27" LED backlit IPS screen ....not to mention the unbelievable engineering that has gone in to these things...blah blah blah...

Re: The renderer's Mac?
Well to be honest I think there is a general misnomer about chip temperatures these days thanks in large part to the enthusiast build-your-own-beast and overclocker crowds and therefore the huge HSF market. All ICs from the smallest to the largest have safe temperature operating zones. As long as yo...

Re: 20 Indigo lifetime licences left
Also Ben you may want to update the front page to note less than 20 remaining as it still says 40.

Re: The renderer's Mac?
I learned to love 'em over the years of using them. ;o)) I think that transition took all of about 30 seconds from power up for me  As for the new Magic Mouse...I must admit I'm tempted to buy one just to see if I like it. I have an MX Revolution currently so I am already familiar with (and ad...

Re: The renderer's Mac?
I would though that it would be a plus, after all I like silent computers, unless they break the components. Is that many iMacs screwed over heat? Well my wife's 24" iMac has survived many a long network render session with no fan ramping and it's still going just fine. Don't forget that the therma...

Re: The renderer's Mac?
Really? I better throw my 30" ACD away and get a much better 15" thenzeitmeister wrote:... but 27" is a bit large.
You can never have enough screen real estate when 3D modelling
...also not sure if you are misreading specs or not but there no longer is a 24". It's 21.5" or 27"

The renderer's Mac?
Apple has finally plugged the gap between iMac and Mac Pro. Mac Pros are awesome but understandably not within the realistic grasp of most and Mac users have been asking for years for something to sit between the mobile processor based iMacs and the workstation class Mac Pros. Well Apple listened. N...

Re: Has this ever happened to anyone here?
Can't say I have ever had voice deepening through work but I do know what it's like to be a "trolley boy" at a Supermarket. My second job out of high school was collecting trolleys at an SC and of course all the other dirty work no one else wanted to do. Seems like an age ago now....

Re: August - September 2009 Competition
Considering the overall purpose of this compo I give my primary vote to Sparlin and secondary vote to ritter (assuming of course anyone cares :P). Found it hard to pick between the two as they are so different. In the end Sparlin's just had more impact although I do think the indigo log should be th...

Re: Blender introduction video
While it's good to see my comments have brought about the right type of discussion I also must say that upon re-reading what I wrote it appears to come across as a little more negative than I really intended. Ono, Ben, I hope my comments didn't cause offence. They were meant to be constructive and n...

Re: Blendigo 2.2.1 for Linux and Mac
I know how to fix it - you have to delete blender.app from your applications directory and then reinstall it to your applications directory. OR! Go blender.app -> show contents -> contents -> macos -> .blender -> scripts -> delete blendigo.py and blendigo folder -> re-run installer. It's because I ...
