super weird, it must be something with the network or my machine, cause it works correctly if I try the link from my phone.
anyone have a clue what might be redirecting it? seems like the upload page should just follow a normal link protocol?

Re: material upload doesn't work for me
yes, latest version of Indigo.
at least when trying to go through the app, it shows an upload progress bar, but then takes me to the same user homepage as the website.

material upload doesn't work for me
anyone else having this problem?
any time I try to upload a material these days, through the website, or directly from Indigo, it just takes me to my user home page.

Re: [REQ] More color spaces: AdobeRGB, Rec.2020, WideGamut e
I've requested this profiling capability in the past. for me, it wouldn't be as much about having a wider color gamut (although that would be a benefit in many cases, too...), rather being able to fine tune the color and tone of my materials within the smaller color space of a printer, so that when ...

Re: Progressive Fog Density
I've gotten this to work before, for a sphere at least, using a distance (dist) function as in the attached. the x, y, and z params determine the center of the sphere and the radius is the distance of the falloff. Not sure if this is exactly what you are asking for, but maybe it will help? you could...

Re: [Req] Save items like material (.igm)
I do this for camera data - save a copy of my scene when I have the exact view alignment / camera settings I want, then open that up in a text editor and delete all but the <camera> node (you also have to change <scene> to <scenedata>, I believe. then, I tweaked the Blendigo code a bit so I can choo...

Re: [REQ] v.4 - New UI elements.
...make indigo more "idiot proof"... I'm sorry, I know I'm taking this out of context a bit, but this always bugs me - Indigo is a serious piece of software, not some rinkydink phone app. it's like any tool needed to make something. if you can't be bothered to put the time in to learn how to use yo...

Re: Indigo Renderer 4.0.43 Beta Release
changing code isl for displacement on coating mat, a window is open for notice an error or a missing parenthesis etc, this is not the normal note in red on the image without interrupting Yeah, this has been a problem for a while, I think devs are aware of it. I would also very much like to see it f...

[REQ] texture loading and switching defaults
Hi, I have a couple small request for textures and the filesystem defaults. would it be possible, through Indigo preferences, to allow us to set a default directory for the location of image textures? I think most people keep their images, or usually many subfolders of images, in a specific location...

Re: Material that imits Vray's Toon effect.
sorry for my ignorance, Ono, but can you explain the || bit of the code within "line"? seems like an "and" or "also" type operation? this effect is similar to somethings I have been trying to work out on my own, combining meanCurvature() with some other property, but I think my approach has been sup...

Re: Simple Renderings Thread
the material is just glossy transparent, with fbm noise controlling the roughness and absorption layer color. the bump is ISL noise too. but I had to "crack" the shard in order for the bottom section to get interesting. so I made a rough-looking plane in blender and gave a it a tiny amount of thickn...

Re: Simple Renderings Thread
first time adding something to this epic thread!
I started this as a trial for this quartz material, then realized the effect had a lot to do with how the object was modeled, so that became a whole different set of things to work out. it took a long time to clear up, but the result is not bad!

Re: Indigo Renderer 4.0.40 Beta Release
admittedly I don't know how this implementation of curves is programmed, but isn't the overall curve just adjusting all 3 channels simultaneously? not to say that it affects the individual channels - those you can still manipulate independently, of course, but that's also how Photoshop curves work. ...

Re: Indigo Renderer 4.0.40 Beta Release
I think "Overall" should be labeled "RGB", as in photoshop's curves.
for most people that's going to be the familiar standard.
