I don't know how to feel about your post. Most of the people in this thread put me to shame, and you put them to shame. Rather a steep clime I have indeed. Beautiful render! Can I have your permission to use your renders in our Blender Presentation. http://www.indigorenderer.com/joomla/forum/...

Ya know Doc, you're killing us here without any tutorials from you. Couldn't you do even a small, simple one for this model or maybe your Coffee Puppets?

I beg you people not to use jpgs for bump mapping in particular , the compression artifacts are just a pityfull thing wich degrades your image quality. Jpgs are fine otherwise ! Well what else can you use? PNGs work find for my color maps, but anytime I try to use them for bumps, Indigo complains t...

I think you should model a simple guitar stand to set it on. It would add to the realizm.

Now if I just knew what all this meant and how to use it!

A page that explains the difference between the three tone mapping methods would be nice. Can someone post a link please.

I think what zsouthboy meant was that Ono needs someone to GIVE HIM A MAC OF HIS OWN to develop on. I'm sure finding people with Macs (me being one of them) for testing purposes would never be a problem. Finding one that you can *have*, for you to write software on would be a problem. You can always...

I've had better luck by doing these steps.. 1: Export from MOI with highest poly count you can. (I think everyone is doing this already) 2: In Blender, remove doubles 3: Convert Tris to Quads 4: Add an edge split modifier and adjust angle until it looks best. 5: Add subsurf. Still not perfect, but b...
