Re: My Wishlist for next update of Indigo

If I'm not mistaken then isn't the haziness controlled by the 'Sky Turbidity' value?

edit: oh you meant the colour...as Suv mentioned it can be done by adjusting the XYZ values while rendering. Maybe the request should be for an easier method of choosing light colours?

Re: Iceberg

@stur : I had some problems like that as well where the light was either escaping through the bottom or being reflected internally. I also noticed that if my sea box was too big then it would start giving problems ie. it turns black like in your earlier renders. I ended up putting a wedge-shaped sea...

Re: Iceberg

I tried using a couple Blender displacement modifers with cloud textures for the waves but because of the high poly count it slowed the rendering down a lot . I ended up using Indigo's displacement on the top face of a massive cube (much much much much faster) and made in photoshop (basically make a...

Re: Iceberg

I made an iceberg too, but its not a very nice one - it just wants to sink ships and doesn't give a flying fart if children are on board.

Re: False colors in Indigo

And my 2 pennies: How about controls for rendering a scene based on what dimension you're in. ie. if hitler won the war, if you were really born a girl, if we all had ginger hair etc etc. That way you could render just one single scene, toggle the quantum mechanics dial and try home in on the dimens...

Re: Find an object with a material so I can delete it?

This is really simple to do, but the method is not entirely obvious. Either you can select just one object with the offending material, press "Shift-L" and then choose "Material" and this will then select every object in the scene with that same material. You can then delete all these objects. Or, i...

Re: Blendigo for 1.1.18

@Regius [*] Indigo Path will be saved in Blendigo now (System) If you want Blender to remember your Indigo path then forget about setting up the indigowrapper.conf, instead start a blank scene, open Blendigo and set the Indigo path in the system tab, then press CTRL-U ----> This will save the settin...

Re: Scheduling in the GUI?

  !!! This has been a wish of mine for awhile, not scheduling per se, but rather just having a render queue manager. Processing power is becoming a lot more abundant especially with i7's so this feature will definitely be useful into the future - also I would LOVE to make more anim...

Re: Blendigo for 1.1.18

I think the ugly aspect of the disturbance largely comes from some people who are a bit too reactive and unfortunately too ready to be a little naughty in their mouthing off.. The ugly aspect clearly originates from you because you come off as highly caustic, bitter and resentful towards how Indigo...

I'm sure most users will agree that Smartden has done a fantastic job at maintaining Blendigo until now. I don't know where you get this idea that he hasn't b...
