Couple of minutes with Indigo 0.6 and wine 0.9.26 under Ubuntu Linux. (Resized the scene a little.)

No, you're not alone. I fought with Radiance's material preview scene once and this bug occurred constantly, so I started looking for a pattern. Apparently what helps is a) resizing everything in your scene thus making it smaller and b) using a larger resolution for the render. Do that and export an...

Does blender have a symmetry object that you are using? Yeah, it's called a "mirror modifier". I'll add asymmetries in the end when I'm done with the basic shapes. And you're right, the belly button looks a little off, I'm going to fix that tomorrow. Last quick update before I'm gonna drop dead int...

Cool, a hourglass filled with coffee. ;) Not bad so far, although I'd probably wouldn't put it into my apartment (except if the sand is indeed coffee of course). Don't forget to rework the top and bottom, some bevel and something more interesting than an extruded cube. :) Oh, and lose the background...

Hitman meets Riddick (or: lurking into organic modeling)

Hi,

Image

No bump maps and no SSS, Indigo really doesn't make organic modeling too comfortable. But I don't want to do another bathroom nor do I want to go back to raytracer village, so there you go. :)
More probably to come...

Any news on the smoothening bug, Ono? I'd like to use Indigo for some organic modeling rather than the usual bathroom/living room extravaganza thus a working normals smoothing _with_ a normal-map/bump-map applied would be quite handy. ;)

Turn on normals smoothing on the silver barrel, the faces are visible. :)

Neat stuff, especially for the time you put in there. Would you mind posting a pure render for comparison?

Looking real sweet. Nice lighting, must take quite some time to render with all that indirect light.

christmas doodle

Hi, since 3D art is (though eating quite some time occasionally) usually more appealing to the non-computer type of people than let's say network administration or stuff like that, I wanted my girlfriend to participate. I did this quick doodle in a half hour mini workshop for her to show her how the...
