I love blender. It gets stronger and stronger. Just some more good poly tools like better booleans and bevels would be great. and maybe some NURBS implementation fro basic CAD work. The animation system is getting very good and all the fluid stuff you can use for indigo to create the mesh for liquid...

Yuk, need to render into a bigger file format for printing
Hi
need to create a high res image of my tee server I created.
A 1280 x 1024 image is still not noise free after 18 hours.
What would you suggest to start with in terms of render settings for
Indigo to speed up rendering while having also a good realism?

9 hours? Argh it is pretty noise for that model. I thought MTL will be faster. Are you using a noise map as a fine bump map? You modeled the prongs wrong. You do not just bend them. You cut out a 45 degree shape. and bend the top part inwards to fill the space. This way you have an edge which follow...

the script is perfect at the moment. mapping blender material values will be confusing for new users. but i would love to have a perfect indigo integartion meaning when you select indido to render the material buttons also show different values etc. whenyou select yafray it happens as well!!! check ...

Hi Bandar i noticed that some of the RGB values you entered are different. Which values do u use? 0.0 till 1.0 or 0 to 255 ? I do not understand the color space you are using here. <rgb> <rgb>0.1 0.5 5</rgb> </rgb> 0.1 seems to look like 0.0 to 1.0 values. In Blendingo you cannot go over 1.0 ad 5 se...

I see, does the usage of such a model for a lamp increase render time significantly compared to just using a long open box with a mesh light plane in it? And how much would be the illumination different from each other? I did not even think about building a glass body to control light rays. In my la...
