Re: gamma 2.2 color in ISL

Not sure whether that'd be correct but I'd use the pow function. Try powers of 2.2 else 0.454545 depending on what gives.
pow(lerp(...), 0.4545)

Re: MLT and aperture shape experiment

Thanks for the credit ! Your textures(?) have too much of something, gamma or saturation rather, that conflict somewhat with the sunset tones. I hope you don't mind the critic :)

Re: Indigo Renderer 4.0.43 Beta Release

Yes that's what I call the if(a,b,c) form, and it does work. No, I have not updated my CG board yet. It manages GPU Acceleration but not OpenCL rendering, that was all on CPU's. I have kind of fixed it by reverting to fbm's instead of multifractal... Merci ! Try if a then b else c Ahw yesss I forgo...

Re: Indigo Renderer 4.0.43 Beta Release

There's an issue with the if statement. Error while building scene: Error occurred while parsing function 'clouds': Expected identifier 'else'. buffer, line 16: range = (if(useBox==1) ((pos.z - bottom)/offset) else ((D - bottom) / offset)) ^ Indigo version: Indigo Renderer v4.0.38, Windows 64-bit bu...

I'm glad about it. My hardware is too old/unsupported for GPU, I'm out :)

Memories, irony. Also because I presented myself years ago like zio just did. Hopefully Glare means to hire pros that can guarantee to bring the process to its good end ?

What version are you using, there is an error with exponent. I think I should update from 4.0.38.

Re: Weathered by time - procedural only - shader available

Nice serie, I like the simple stained polished metal fom statuettes_49m_944spp_614ksps.jpg.

You could add a vertically stretched noise to mix angles in order to smear the effect and avoid neatly bordered regions.

Re: Material that imits Vray's Toon effect.

The shader is working but it is not fit for your scene, contegufo. It works best with smooth surfaces. Subdividing geometries may produce better results too.

Re: Remember when computing was fun?

I thought that you figured out a way to OT the WIP forum that I hadn't
I kind of lent two thirds of my savings to a friend so he could buy an A1200, and he gave me the money back in hands by small bits. Those where my last savings ever.
