Set Smooth for Curves?
I'm importing our company logo into Blender from an SVG file as Curves, and then extruding. It imports fine, but when rendering in Indigo I notice that "Set Smooth" is ignored. Great work as always BbB. Only crits I can think of... 1: The strawberries look a bit "plastic", and the jelly doesn't seem to be flowing over them quite right. The group shot is a tad better as the DOF appears to be hiding most of that. 2: The icing on the cake is spot on. The first layer is a bit ...

I love the lighting in this one. It's SPOT ON!! Very contrasty. Some may not like the way the hightlight areas are burnt out but I think it makes it look more like a real photo. At least in this instance. My only crit would be the fireplace. The fire is just a tad extreme in intensity for that scale...

Borgleader... You're not paying attention to the "\.." after the "\preview" directory. It's bumping you up one level. In other words, it's not looking it the textures directory in previews. It's up one level in the Indigo directory. If you create your own textures folder there and add the file, it s...

I tried a displacement test on an older scene of mine. Not sure what's going on with the floor plane. I'm using the exact same image for for color map as I am for displacement, and the same UV settings. My only guess it that the displacement map isn't scaling the same as the color map?? http://home....

Rather than the the large, chrome stools, what I would like to see is some equipment in the room. Maybe a ladder, some small scaffolding, that type of thing. Perhaps even use the new Cloth features of 2.46 to create a large drop cloth? Make it look like the room in being renovated. Just a thought. B...
