Re: Indigo Renderer 4.0.55 Beta Release

Hey guys, not sure if this was reported before - there are subtle differences on how intersecting specular mats are handled in GPU and CPU mode. The liquid and the glass are just specular mats without sss, WITH sss on it appears to be the same "problem". The liquid has a lower precedence than the gl...

Re: Indigo Renderer 4.0.55 Beta Release

I think neo has a point in "simplyfing material blending", blends of blends are just not very intuitive to set up to me either :-)

Thanks lape, fantastic!
The drops make it look delicious...

Re: May 2017 Competition

Hi guys, this is a quick and dirty entry - just a simple product pic with procedural textures from the database to save some space. Not at all top notch, but perhaps worth a cup ;-) File size is 440KB. Looks much better though with Bub's Old White Wall and Oscar's floor, but then it is around 140 MB...

But not sure why, somehow it also looks like a miniature, or a doll house
Is the scale alright?

Please post more!!

Re: Indigo Renderer 4.0.48 Beta Release

Oh, and another thing I noticed during the GPU betas: When changing the HDRI in the background settings, it will not update properly in the render. Changing the a, b and c values does update correctly, but new background textures do not show up until clicking "foreground alpha" in the rendering menu...
