Re: A natural situation...

I love the Troncotron_transparent_GPU render!

The last one is also very cool, but I didn't get the setup... Can you post a wireframe, perhaps from "outside"?

Re: WOODEN product visualisations

It is just a GTX 1060 6GB. Most such scenes are lit by an HDRI image, no exit portals as they are not supported yet by GPU rendering. I do make sure that lots of light can enter the scene by removing walls and/or ceilings, which happens to show in the last render in the reflection of the window... :...

Re: WOODEN product visualisations

Thanks thesquirrel! :-) It is an actual product you can buy - I just need to render some pics for the online-shop! We just don't have fancy locations, and we usually built it by order, so we use renders to show the variations (different veneers). The last pic is for use in a catalog. What is really ...

Re: The best rendering engine?

Hi, this is not really possible to tell, as the material's properties (especially the blue thing) and textures a quite different! Material-wise, these are three completely different renders. But just for the fun of it: I'd go for the middle one. Is has the nicest overall lighting (see the area under...

Re: Indigo Renderer 4.0.60 Beta Release

Wow Ono, great release out of nowhere :-) Testing it right now. One weird bug I couldn't quite reproduce yet: When changing the gain of the light layers while GPU rendering, the image disappeared (looked like alpha rendering mode), only restarting the render with CPU brought it back. Happened two ti...

Re: WOODEN product visualisations

Hello, nothing really new to show off here, but I dug up some old scenes and put in new lamps. The TUBE lamp itself was shown before, but we reworked the cooling system, so new mood pics were needed.
Greetz!

Re: WOODEN product visualisations

Just to show some action here, these are simple product renders of presentations for beers, juices, etc. involving wood. It's more about the wood, so the bottles are not quite realistic. As a gimmick, the logo just shows up when the light is turned on.

Re: Some new work

Great scenes, the fancy lamp and the sunlight (?) from the left side are fantastic!
The pebbles and the electric wire in the outdoor scene are also amazing :)
