Re: living skindigo
Hi Pibuz, Nice images you post here on the forum. ! How is the 'Pro' Indigo working out for you? Speaking for myself, I can't bring myself to pay for the software since it went commercial. Unbiased still is not feasible for me at all (although I do own a Fryrender copy which i hardly use) .... I sti...

Re: When's the goodies comin'?
At least they should provide 'working' plugins from the start. If you buy a car, you don't just buy the engine, now do you? Ehem, that sounds awefully general.... There are exporters that actually work and are quite complete, you know.... Yes, sounds a bit 'general'....like a Toyota Corolla. :), bu...

Don't apologize. You are right. At least they should provide 'working' plugins from the start. If you buy a car, you don't just buy the engine, now do you? The pressure is now on Whaat and the other plugin developers.....they got thrown into this adventure quite brutally. I hope they are well compen...

Re: When's the goodies comin'?
I don't know about you guys, but I always get paid when my work is done, not before hand.
The half priced deal includes a certain 'risk' and 'development time' margin. Fine.
But if there are promises to be made, then a time frame should be given.
Stinkie has a point.

Re: New exporter?
Is Skindigo version 1.0.9 compatible with Indigo 2.0 ?
I never got my head around the external material/textures thing of later versions, so I hoped the old fashioned 1.0.9 way of doing things would work as well...

Re: Indigo is going commercial; Indigo 2.0
Is the current Sketchup plugin supporting Indigo 2?
Is there a significant quality/speed improvement over the earlier free versions?

wishlist: automatic .png transparency support
Hi all,
At the risk beating a dead horse, I would want to ask whether rendering .png transparency is on the to do list for skindigo. I mean without having to point to clipmap textures.
I just ask as both Podium and Fryrender support it by now (Vray not yet afaik).
What do you think?

Out of curiousity, Are you guys using 1.1.8 or 1.1.9 with great success? I am still using 1.0.9 because I am insecure about using the latest versions with shaders, new emitter system etc.... I have the impression that latest versions aren't that easy to use as the earlier ones.... So I would love to...
