Re: Indigo last survivor in the race for OpenCL renderer
I've made some quick simple interior test and indigo is about 2-3 times faster then lux. All I can see (I'm Maxwell user) that indigo is a lot faster then Maxwell too.

Re: [REQ] v4 video functionality
Can't that be done in Natron using exr light layers? Haven't seen it but it's free, maybe worth checking.

Re: Viewport textures display
I've got texture display using this method with both material and textured modes. With proxy/uv project workflow however this is the only method available because you can't switch to edit mode with proxy objects. I don't know why it hasn't been implemented, maxwell plugin uses same texture loader as...

You're right, it can be.
But this one is most probably picture:

[req] Copy/paste functions
Hi,
When editing materials in Indigo UI there is no way to copy and paste textures, color values or even whole materials. It would be really nice to add those to speed up material creation process.
Best regs.

Re: Viewport textures display
Oh that way! Thank you!
So it displays only texture loaded in image editor, that's why I couldn't make it work... So currently there is no way to show textures bind to material right?

Re: Viewport textures display
Sure thing about uv mapping. I've checked Maxwell exporter (I'm still Maxwell user but Indigo is hell faster and I want to switch) and there is no problem to display viewport texture. This exporter uses blender internal map loader and adds its properties on bottom. Blendigo have no "load from drive"...

Viewport textures display
Hi,
Is it possible to show textures in viewport? Material color shows fine, but I can't manage to show texture.
EDIT:
Only way I've found is to switch to BGE and add/enable texture there...
Best regards.

Re: Instances of parented object export problem
That's only way I've found to duplicate groups in blender... The title of topic is misleading here, there should be "grouped" not "parented", my bad. To replicate: - create cube or two - group them - switch to groups view in outliner - right-click on group and select "Instance groups in scene" - swi...

Re: RhIndigo - Indigo for Rhinoceros 5.0 thread
@StompinTom,
Does your exporter have external material option, exporting blocks as instances and proxy support?
Those features would allow to work with rhino on models and then with blender on scene.

Re: New exporter
Can't wait to try your addon! In the meantime some thoughts based on current one what's IHMO lacking: - node system material support to solve fiddling forward and backward with nested materials, luxrender got one lately and works pretty nice - proxy meshes preview in viewport using mesh from igm fil...

Re: Aperture diffraction intensity and disabling bokeh
Thank you Oscar J. Just diffraction from Indigo looks better then from ArionFX, and one post-production step less of course.... Let's make a with then for such feature!

Re: Aperture diffraction intensity and disabling bokeh
Yep I get it, but I just wanted to: - disable dof completely (pinhole camera?) - detach diffraction from aperture It's pretty important when rendering small things where aperture has large value to keep large dof and when I wanted to add only subtle diffration (more like glow) it's just not possible...
