Re: Indigo Renderer 4 public beta
Did already paste what's inside this Render log in the above message. Was searching for the Advanced settings read about in the manual http://indigorenderer.com/documentation/manual/indigo-scenes/render-settings if this logging is more detailed. If it's the same i can see in the UI panel don't mind.

Re: Indigo Renderer 4 public beta
Thanks Zom-B Same result: all black with the pigs I did posted and same error with the modified one, with both preview closed. Noticed in the Render settings>Device information it's stated: Max allocation 2.062 GB, mean nothing the fact the Dedicated memory it's 2.2GB at runtime? Attached the screen...

Re: Indigo Renderer 4 public beta
That scene works fine for me with GPU, it just takes like a minute to build the OpenCL kernels due to the many textures. I can't understood why, your 7970 GPU it's the same architecture as mine. Tried now to change Environment, ISO, Response function, nothing changes. Attached the screen of CPU and...

Re: Indigo Renderer 4 public beta
Testing a scene created from iClone 6, strange is working with CPU rendering, on GPU all is remaining black. A simpler version with the two characters, a terrain and a tree was working without problems (just some materials to fix). Same settings PT etc, here you can find the pigs file and the igs sc...

Maybe I someone to give a concrete answer. may configuration GPU not working GTX 460 2GB GDDR5 256bit OpenGL 4.1 my 2600K CPU supports the instruction MMX, SSE, SSE2, SSE3, SSSE3, SSE4.1, SSE4.2, EM64...

Re: Indigo Renderer 4 public beta
Did you run the test for long enough? Also have you tried the updated McLaren scene? 600 spp both of them, but in the first test I did changed the camera position in your scene so I suppose it's no more comparable (this one leave standard settings). 3.263 Ms/p optimized scene (didn't noticed it), +...

Mclaren: 2.409 Mp/s
Bedroom: 1.398 Mp/s
HD7950Boost. Only the bedroom scene it's comparable result vs other test, +19% speed.
Didn't noticed improvement in the kernel building time, both of them was short anyway.

Re: Indigo Renderer 4 public beta
Good day to everyone ) Thanks a lot for fourth version of my most likely renderer - it's awesome! I have а little issue - Indigo can't detect my GPU's (Intel HD 3000 on Ci7 2700K and FX5800) with newest drivers, so I can't test it with GPU. Please check it HD3000 didn't support OpenCL at all so you...

Re: GPU render competition
I remembered well: already asked to Ono (about the fact Indigo - Winter tool in fact - target platform will be OpenCL or also CUDA), that was his response.OnoSendai wrote:Winter can output OpenCL code. We don't support CUDA because we don't need to - OpenCL runs on Nvidia GPUs.

Re: GPU render competition
After a bit more digging things are starting to clarify about all the market movements around CUDA/OpenCL. With all info nicely summed up in this article http://www.anandtech.com/show/9792/amd-sc15-boltzmann-initiative-announced-c-and-cuda-compilers-for-amd-gpus - AMD prepared a CUDA-->C++ translato...

Now we are happy congratulating with Glare for the Indigo 4.0 beta release I was searching for other places where to disperse the good news. I was instead captured reading the announcement made from the market leader in GPU rendering, Otoy https://home.otoy.com/octanerender-3-and-roadmap-update/ Fro...

Re: Indigo Renderer 4 public beta
Errors rendering on GPU with both scenes: Memory allocation failure while initializing Indigo. Works only with CPU. Win7x64 pro, 2x Xeon X5650, 16GB Nvidia Quadro M5000 8GB From this specs http://www.nvidia.com/object/quadro-k5000.html#pdpContent=2 Quadro M5000 does support OpenCL 1.1, if I good re...
