Re: Wishlist

Hi Whaat,
I've sent you a pm with an idea of the ui.
I didn't post it here because I draw it in skUp and I write it in french...
If a french skindigo user wants to see it, let me know. :)

Look really better! :)
Galinette's terracotta tiles are so awesome. Allways gives more realism to any scene!

Re: Wishlist

Hi Whaat!
Don't know if it has been asked yet but would it be possible to randomly change the colour of instanced groups. Little colour variations would be great for vegetal purposes for instance.
Thank you!!

Re: 3D wood shader

Wow Fused! This oak looks pretty good! What distracts my eyes now is the simetrical/straightness draw of the wood vains. Would it be possible to add some little knots on the wood? I may ask too much but i really don't know if there're any limits in isl :) . Here is the female joint showing a nice wo...

Re: 3D wood shader

Hey this is really interesting!
Your test is done in a squared log. So how would it behave on the end cut of a plank (rectangular). How would it know what is endcut and what is not? And is there a way to make more oak like vains of the wood?. Here is a foto of oak joinery I made...
Thank you!

Hello Otk.
What is inside the glass? water or raki?
Did you use a bump map for your wood?

Wow, nice comparaisons! Light seems more equilibrated now. At some moment the render is going to look better than the foto! Keep working on it! :D

Re: Full-procedural ceramic tiles material

Yes, It works on the material editor but the colour seems to be monocromatic. I'm not shure if the gradient should be visible in my material preview because tiles are big. But one thing is shure: when I apply this material in skUp the shader texture is ignored/not applied and indigo crashes. Whaat t...

Re: Full-procedural ceramic tiles material

Awesome work Galinette! Congrats!
So, what's the next challenge?! :)

Sorry to bother you again with this but I don't know how to add the color gradient png. I seems to be missing even if I re-add it in the material editor.
Thank you.

Re: box + displacement map problem

I use to solve this problem by rounding the box cornes, even if its very few ,and smooth the edges . So when I click one face of the cube all the faces are selected as 1 texture instead of 6. Try it and post some images.. :)

Welcome Piotr!
Your first renders look very good. My only critic is that segments are still visible on the chair curves.
