Yes, It works on the material editor but the colour seems to be monocromatic. I'm not shure if the gradient should be visible in my material preview because tiles are big. I use to solve this problem by rounding the box cornes, even if its very few ,and smooth the edges . So when I click one face of the cube all the faces are selected as 1 texture instead of 6. Try it and post some images..
