Indigo Renderer 4.4.5 Beta
Hi all, This is an important release for Indigo. We have added the long-awaited CPU bucket rendering. (GPU already uses bucket rendering) We mainly added this because it's required to get good results with the denoiser (which is in Indigo since the last 4.4.1 release). However it also speeds up rend...

Indigo Renderer 4.4.1 Beta / Technology Preview
Hi All, This is a slightly unorthodox release in that 4.2 stable is not officially released yet. Nevertheless we wanted to get this beta version out so that people can try it, in particular the fancy new denoising. You can read about how to use the denoising here: https://www.indigorenderer.com/docu...

Re: Built-in Denoiser
Hi All, We have made some progress on integrating Intel's Open Image Denoise. Attached are some results. Currently it works best with GPU rendering, we will have to do a little re-architecting to get it working really well with CPU rendering. The denoiser will be available in Indigo 4.4.x, betas of ...

Re: Landscapes
Hi Yonosoy,
The second parameter to evalCreate is position, not normal.
Currently it's not possible to read the normal in evalCreate, I think, but it should be, I'll add it.

Re: Indigo Renderer 4.2.23 Stable Release Candidate
I was scratching my head over some very weird Z-depth values, and then I came across this: 4.2.20 * Using scene radius with camera for normalising the depth channel. Could this be rolled back or made toggle-able so that you can use true Z-depth (distance in units/meters from camera)? It's inconsist...
