This is nice to see. Will it be something like..

Code: Select all

<renderer_settings>
    <shift_lens>true</shift_lens>
</renderer_settings>
I suppose the camera element is probably better place for it. But in other words..will it be easy to use? Thanks! :)

My C++ skills are quite rusty. I have not had a reason to write in C++ for quite a few years now. Never looked at Violet's source code. I assumed Violet was dead. :?

Also assumed it died because Gimp or similar photo editors could do what Violet basically did? Forgive me if I am wrong. :roll:

Great scene BbB. While I was looking at it here is what came to mind: -plants in top picture appear to be floating, perhaps the concrete wall needs something at the top to show that it is different from the concrete behind it -this building looks very clean compared to the one beside it -I like the ...

I wish there was an easier way to apply different shaders to instances. I cant do that in blender (to the best of my knowledge) so I'm assuming it's equally challenging with the exporter. Yea, as a retired exporter developer for Blender/Indigo I can say this is not an easy thing to make work. :) Es...

I was thinking about restructuring the hybrid exporter and Carmine. Been thinking that only a few things need to be done to support Indigo v1 stable. Started a todo list a few days ago wondering if I really wanted to go down that road again. Not sure what is at the end of this road but I thought I w...

Trees look great!

I am quite certain I would not be able to model one myself. Anyone try using ngPlant program? I downloaded it but have not used it yet.

I do not think this program was finished. I made a material editor a few months ago and it can be found here: http://www.indigorenderer.com/joomla/forum/viewtopic.php?t=3090 It was designed around Indigo 1.0.6, and I have not used Indigo since that release so I am not sure if it is still compatible ...

Possibly a verticle has been pulled to the wrong side of the glass? (assuming it has thickness)

You can also try checking the normals or recalculating them.

To me it looks like a mesh error.

I have had cable for a few years but switched locations of where I lived. On the other side of the mountain I get speeds about 5 times faster for the same price. But now I am much closer to the "main switch." I don't run speed tests because the size of my pipe doesn't help much since it usually ends...

Great scene! Sea side theme works excellent. :)

Only one thing appears odd to me...that is the size of the boat. I would guess it is a little row boat but it looks much bigger when compared to the door of the building. I don't know, though.

Yeah it is easier to smooth normals than to make a massive sized mesh which only makes the faces look smaller. Unless you are going for that look it is best to meet somewhere in the middle. You can't smooth something rough, I mean you still need some detail in your mesh but if your scene is crashing...

Building a version of Blender itself with modified code that used [only] all of the Indigo material settings would be great. Not likely to happen though. :)
