how i get a colored mirror?

Hi everyone,

i have just a small question:
how can i create a colored mirror material?

When i use phong or specular materials the reflection of a white light bulb still looks white :?

Thanks for help, regards zuegs

what type of slash you used inside the "IndigoWrappoer.conf"?
When you run the Blendigo script, please check the blender console output, as the script reports the detected OS and the slash-type it will use?

please ensure that you have placed the "Indigowrapper.conf" file in the ".blender/scripts/bpydata" directory and that the path inside this file (use text editor) points to your indigo directory.

Hi Nick, Thx for explanation, so it is in the nature of bi-dir to need high Max_num_consec_rejects  because i like to set "Max_num_consec_rejects" quite low to get a faster noise-free render    Is it possible to weight less the rejects inside transparent cube mesh? I mean a...

Hi Nick, hi SmartDen, it's for testing, right  and so I tested a bit arround and found that the effect happens by "MLT+BiDir" when "Max_num_consec_rejects" is low. Funny is that when using "MLT only" the specular material renders fully transparent already with a very low "max_num_consec_reject...

fully transparent specular material

Hello indigos... can someone explain me why following material isn't completely transparent for light? When i have a sunlight or meshlight shineing through this material only a part of the light energie arrives on floor. I thought, that a ior=1 or ior=1.001 should not reflect light and all light sho...

installs and works fine on my Vista Business :D THX very MUCH :!: [Edit] suggestion for histogram: i would prefer that the red, green and blue channel histograms are all aligned at bottom and mixed additively. So i can see which one looks over the top (dominating) to get a nice white-point. Btw... w...

Nice one ! :D
I can even imagine  that the "tonemap" page can be fusioned to the "renderer" or "system" page, and then the "materials" page could go up as 1th page-tag. ->
"Materials" "Camera" "Environment" "Renderer" "System"

you are right, there should be no problem.... ... i just don't like to install stuff i don't need, or in other words, i like that the exporter script works with blender without additional installs (so i hope that future blender installation will have the "python25.zip" file in it  as it was fo...
