Re: IndigoMax 0.3.11

Thanks for the reply. I am currently using 3dsMax 2012 SP1, with IndigoMax 0.3.11 and Indigo Renderer 3.89. The crash is more prevalent on larger scenes - let's say 3/10 times a crash will occur, but I don't think it could be a RAM issue; I have 16GB, and it doesn't happen with other exporters. That...

Re: IndigoMax 0.3.11

Opacity maps - where is the option for this? I know already that if you have a texture that has an alpha channel, then it will use that, but I have a lot of textures that come with an opacity map, and I don't know where to place them. Another question - any reason why sometimes when you create an ob...

Re: Indigo Renderer 3.8.9

Still packing IndigoMax 0.37? Nice to know you listen to your end-users. Quick note, you may want to update the installer for IndigoMax in the executable. Version in the install file is 0.37, while most recent is 0.3.11. Only realised when I updated Indigo, started Max, and an old IndigoMax Material...

Only realised when I updated Indigo, started Max, and an old IndigoMax Material Editor bug had returned. Had to manually update eventually.

Re: Interior of business building

Those are some Indigo parameters that we sketchup users aren't allowed to easily see. I know Max users can, but at the moment the SkIndigo developers prefer to keep SkIndigo as simple as possible. I think that adding those parameters, in an advanced panel, wouldn't hurt at all: SkIndigo fits suitab...

Re: Interior of business building

To avoid downsizing you can try other things too... If you want sharper edges, use the high pass filter in PS. Duplicate layer, use radius of 0.3 pixels, and then set layer to either hard light or vivid light. In Indigo itself, for sharpness, use mn_cubic for both splat and downsize with 0.33 ring a...

Re: Someone please teach me how the diffraction works

I think you're referring to Violet, or something like that? Either way, something like that should come back, and a standalone material editor, imo.

Re: Someone please teach me how the diffraction works

As far as I know, the pre/post diffraction option must be edited in the .igs file.

[REQ] Material ID render option in Indigo GUI

Hey Glare, long time no post. I was just wondering if in future versions it would be possible to see an option for the render of a Material ID pass in the Indigo standalone GUI - at the moment, with Maxigo (which I still use of a number of reasons - despite the rise of IndigoMax) you must tick the o...
