Re: osx skindigo -- a little sketchy at times

(and the window was focused when it happened as i just finished switching the environment setting). i'll leave it be though unless i can find out what e...

osx skindigo -- a little sketchy at times
hey whaat, i've noticed that my changes don't always apply when i push 'apply changes' in the render settings.. it works sometimes but i have to check by closing the render settings then reopening the dialog to make sure they stuck. [or, for instance, i might change the output aspect ratio but i hav...

Re: bug Error: SceneLoaderExcep:
You have to purge the model to fully rid the component.
Model info/stats/purge unused
not sure if that will sort out the indigo problem but...

Re: Strange pattern on render
if it were made with a camera, i'd think they were newton's rings
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Newton's_rings
but i really don't know if indigo would be producing those things.

Re: Warning against upgrading to v7.1
ditto for me.
7.1 can handle more polys more efficiently than previous versions of SU. I think you have something else going on which leads to the crash.
more info about what you're doing leading up to the crash etc would be helpful in sorting out your problem.

Re: Mac Installer?
If it helps whaat Mac OS will auto decompress compressed files after download and then "execute" things it understands. So when i download said sparseimage.gz it gets auto-decomped and then mounted and autorun. Make sense? Actually just let me check that 'cause I may not be 100% correct (defi...

Re: Wishlist
Hi Jeff, some very good points there. I think at some point I'll add a whitepoint picker to the Indigo GUI, so that you can pick a point in the scene that should be white, and the whitepoint x and y will be calculated to make the point white. ha, yeah.. that sounds better than the method i've descr...
Re: Wishlist
I think the whole white balance thing can be redone.. some of it would probably have to take place in indigo and some in skindigo. right now, there are a bunch of different scales being used of which i only recognize 2 of them.. kelvin (at least i think that's what the 9300 is) and spectral (d65 etc...
