Hi Delle,

in this scene the glass of the window has been removed or is still present?

Great images, R.

From my point of view this is what I see: if we have A - B C D | | | ------ | | -------- then mat4* = mat4 mat3* = mat3 / (1-mat4*) mat2* = mat2 / ((1 - mat3*)x(1-mat4*)) mat1* = mat1 / ((1 - mat3*)x(1-mat4*)) and so on...for higher hierarchical trees where mat"n" is the desired blend value for mate...

I really don't understand your point guys: those fu..in points are only "aperture diffracted" fireflies....i don't really understand why you're trying to hack indigo lights in order to get rid of them.

They are only generated by a need-to-be-fixed bug.

hmmm... it's quite known to me that effect. I've a similar scene with those colored spots, and they are fireflies. If you try to render the same scene with 1.0.8 (if i remember well) they should disappear.

Here's my 2 cents

Hey Delle,

are your light source covered with specular transparent materials? This could be the source of the fireflies... imho
