We are going to test 2.4.13 (when the Mac version comes out)

I think maybe the hostnames were not setup correctly, so we will try some more ideas,

Adding a "Cancel" button to the Quick Render "refresh textures" dialog would be handy.

Also, dunno if its a bug or not, but under MacOS the render settings and material windows sometimes wont show (either clicking the button or using the menu item)...
