Re: Simple Renderings Thread
The long grass is just one mesh instanced using MaxigoScatter, and the same process was used for the short grass. Screenshot below. The trick to this was using the diffuse map option. I blended two different photographs of grass from a distance, and made the colour of this a bit more uniform, otherw...

Re: png image render problem
That would work too, but regardless of whether Indigo supports png transparency, it is just easier just to make a black and white image, and apply it the clip map channel of the texture. The first image of the model shows the image has got an alpha, but using a clip map eliminates doubt. Does not ta...

7. Material/object id maps yes (in Max at least), not sure about Skindigo or Blendigo.

Re: png image render problem
You need to create an alpha /transparency map, with just black and white, so Indigo knows which part not to make visible.

Re: rendering speed
Should I have quit out of the sketchup file that indigo renderer is rendering? Hi there. This is up to you. If you are running out of memory, then it maybe worthwhile. Currently the supersampling factor is set at 2.. does anyone have any idea what DPI a "2" will produce at 1280x720? Can I change it...

Re: Autosave Image to Disk question
Thanks for that, issue resolved. However, in my defence, I did have one eye on the render log to see when Indigo was updating the auto-image. I was aware it was not immediate.

Re: Autosave Image to Disk question
Just installed 3.4.13 from .12 and autosave works correctly.
Maybe I should have tried that first.

Re: Autosave Image to Disk question
Thanks very much for the reply. Just tested this further, and it seems that if you specify the camera settings within the exporter (in my case Maxigo 3.07) the auto-save is correct. However, if I change the whitepoint, the auto-save is not updated. Screenshot below: I specified Ektachrome 64TCD with...

Re: Autosave Image to Disk question
Still no official response? Seeing as I have paid for this software, I would have expected something at least in the way of acknowledgement of my query. Currently rendering a scene, and the problem is still there... See screenshot below. Right is auto-saved image, which is clearly different to what ...

Autosave Image to Disk question
Hello Glare team, I hope you can help me. When I start a render, and I specify the camera/tonemap settings (for example Ektachrome 64TCD, D50 whitepoint, ev 3.0, ISO 75), those settings do not seem to carry over in the actual autosaved image. At the very least, the camera settings and camera preset ...
