Re: Pikadili89's projects
Thanks Pibuz!
Your comments are right on the spot, as always! I simply didn't have any idea what more details should I put.
But what irritates me most is the quality of fabrics such as silk, velvet etc. I always fail in making them photo realistic.

Re: Pikadili89's projects
Those pool shots are really nice. Vegetation needs work - doesn't quite seem to match. I agree on that Oscar J, any tips for SketchUp user how to improve them? I use simple thin material or transparent phong material. This is mainly because for most SketchUp vegetation I do not have any maps such a...

Re: Pikadili89's projects
Really great materials! :O And the glare from that desk lamp is awesome. I just think that the renders are a bit dark overall, it's hard to see all the nice details. Maybe something you could try to adjust in post? :) Thanks Oscar, I was opting for the dark atmosphere though. But I don't wanna do p...

Re: Pikadili89's projects
One test scene for GPU as well as some of the materials/maps. In my opinion, these are the best renders I'v produced so far, in technical aspects of course. Hope you like what you see! Cheers!

Re: Pikadili89's projects
E hvala brate!
Za zavesu koristim simple thin material. Od sada taj materijal koristim i za biljke, nekako mi je najadekvatniji i najlakse podesavam transparentnost i sve.

Re: Pikadili89's projects
Thanks Oscar, you really have eye for details lol! That greenish effect is due to reflection of inside construction of the lamp which is black/dark green metal. :) Many of my colleagues told me that they wind that light circle a bit wierd as well hahahaha No, I did not use GPU, I used CPU with exit ...

Re: Pikadili89's projects
Thanks Pibuz!
Well yes, my models are usually extremely heavy but I use a lot of layers in order to make the modeling and working in it a lot easier, for example "details", "cars", "trees", "bushes" etc. But I also have a beast of a computer.
