Cindigo doesn't export those if you uncheck 'Save .IGI' for quite a while.
Otherwise a real bummer though haha. Happened to me once where a longer sequence filled up almost 2tb of hdd space and froze somewhere down the line because ran out of space : D

Haha thanks a lot! Can't do a checkerboard in ISL though, so still sucking hard.

Re: Really pure GPU rendering due to slow CPU
The only way you're going to have more memory and rendering power is with a Titan X, which is ridiculously expensive. Ask kklors :D Haha just seen this one. After all, 12GB is what gets me into GPU rendering in first place : P We talked about optimizations and so on before, but sometimes it's reall...

Re: kklors render stuff
Really?! I actually use a very similar process myself for quick sketchy thing to show clients, but yours looks WAY better! https://www.dropbox.com/s/3hillgwlsrjhe4e/b.png?n=153384883 (didn't want to pollute your awesome thread with a direct upload of one of my shitty images! ) Haha niice! Re: kklors render stuff
Thanks a lot! Unfortunately it's not a shader. As stupid simple as it sounds pretty much all what makes this effect is MLT noise and brutal overexposure. I attached the original render. The only thing I did to it is slightly blurring it and applying some swirly fractal noise ontop in Multiply at 15%...

Re: kklors render stuff
That,that,that...cloud over there on the second image...is that CTZn cloud?! O.M.G.... Haha it is. Frankensteined a lot though. Not that I know what I'm doing to be honest. That stuff works for certain scenes and certain light angles sometimes, sometimes it doesn't. A quick something while nerding ...

Re: kklors render stuff
It's sort of both. The stairs come from a mesh, a shader drives opacity and position.CTZn wrote:are the staired lines shader based or mesh ? if the former how the heck !?

Re: dof preview in open gl windwow?
I would preview/estimate DOF in whatever 3d app you use outside of Indigo. The DOF obviously won't behave exactly the same but in a way similar. A good habit to set manual focus points anyway. (Or do it in post :P) C4D has this for instance for realtime DOF (starts at around 4 minutes): https://www....
