I have been getting an error with a lamp. Only three materials, all Skp colors, one material is a blackbody light, one a phong and one a diffuse transmitter. any ideas? I thought because in the full model it is a component, but I saved it out and it does it by itself. I've used the diffuse transmitt...

I use 3ds Max. No multiple scenes output or something like that. Animation is build into Max exporter. It exports a new frame as soon as the previous frame gets done. Everything is automatic and igs scene requires the same amount of disk space as for still image rendering. Finally I used VirtualDub...

That's really cool!!! Much smoother than I would have thought. A question of how this is set up- My guess is you set up different scenes in Blender, than you render them all with the halt time set, than what do you use to put them back together? And how many scenes? or is there an animation tool in ...

I was wondering if it was possible to use the watermark feature in sketchup. I use it now to put skies in when I export images. I suppose that sketchup would have to be able to place something other than a .jpg as a watermark. Would it be possible to export the watermark and have it changed in the e...

I don't know if I'll need to change the defaults, but just wanted to say what a great and intuitive way to do this. really keeping in line with your philosophy of the exporter. Thanks!! actually now that I think about it, I can do this and not have to keep changing the image size! we're a lazy bunch...

I just started messing around with the physics plugin, but how did you get everything to freeze? I have some ideas that I want to render but I need everything to stop while it is up in the air. BTW, the final car render looks great. and Kbiebel is right, let's get some more SkIndigo stuff into the g...

nk most times, when a user enables transparency, they expect to get a 'glass-like' material, not a Diffuse Transmitter material. Just remember to set the type to Diffuse before or after enabling transparency to get a Diffuse Transmitter. Cheers, Whaat It's no problem, just wasn't sure if it was lef...

Thanks Whaat! a couple things though, to create a mesh emitter, i am just assigning the graphic an RGB value, is this correct? seems to be working, sort of. Also, I noticed that transparent materials still default to specular. Where I run into this is I have to remember to assign a material as diffu...
