Re: kklors render stuff

Thanks so much for the positive feedback people! Didn't post the last week's work on it's own because it was too crap due too lack of time. I'll attach it together with this week's work though. This week I recreated a piece in 3D by one of my favourite illustrators Kilian Eng. The original can be se...

kklors render stuff

So I'll take my chance and created an own render thread.

Probably not the most impressive piece to start with, as I had zero free time this week and done in a rush, but at least something to get going :)

Re: Unexpected

Nice render, would love to stand there!

About the trees; a tool I like to create bg trees with is arbaro.

http://arbaro.sourceforge.net/ It's simple to use and free!
Even though there are not many ready to go presets, you can create pretty much anything with it.

Nice workaround! Haven't thought of that : P

Will give it a try later this evening or tomorrow.

Setting unique save interval and file name (timelapse)

Wondered if it's possible for quite a while already. Would it be possible to set a save/update interval of let's say 5 seconds without Indigo overwriting the previous update but create a new image for each save of the same scene? Obviously this would serve only an educational and fun purpose of reco...

Re: Simple Renderings Thread

Wow so much positive feedback!

Will do a thread as soon as I got something new done, which happens quite frequently.
Hopefully I can learn a bit more ISL from this forum in the future too.

Re: Simple Renderings Thread

Thanks a lot again people! @Pibuz Stupid enough not to lurk on the forums really too. But hey, better too late than never. @JK Don't have a resume page or something serious yet. I did a 365 days render project though and now doing a weekly render project for an other year. So I've got this blog wher...

Re: Simple Renderings Thread

Allright, unleashing the render spam. I'll just post a selection of some of the better ones I've did. Not all of the Sci-Fi but hope there will be something in there for everyone.
There are mats from the library in some of them, but many own shaders too.

Re: Simple Renderings Thread

Thanks so much people! Really haven't thought of Half-Life while making it haha, the idea was kind of a Sci-Fi future alchemist gold creation chamber! The lightnings and the smoke are post work and highlight that some creation process is going on. I've got different other renderings I test rendered ...

Re: Simple Renderings Thread

Hello everyone!

I know Indigo for quite some time but never came to post or register on the forums, which I feel guilty of seeing so many friendly and interesting people in here. (Maybe I'm just an anti social ass...)

Here's one of my latest renders done with Indigo:
