Grimm, use the --enable-unicode flag during for configure, and rebuild the libraries. The resulting libraries can then replace the old ones, and indigo should run fine.

Are you running from the base extract directory? Should be in the ISLPreviewer_v0.1 directory when you launch. The command looks for the jar and libraries relative to the current path.

I'm starting to think it's your java installation. Perhaps try uninstalling java, redownloading, and installing again?

Well, there really isn't an installer for the app. It's just a batch file launching the jar file and manually adding the jogl libraries to the library path.
