I sincerely hope Nick won't charge for indigo directly. Your ideas of tech support and charging for Maya/Max/Houdini exporters are good however. If Indigo cost even $1 I wouldn't pay for it. If a donation page were set up I would would be willing to donate up to $40 to show support or free the indig...

At times like this I lose hope. Why can't indigo be free? Why do some people always equate all good things in life with money? It is all very depressing. All this talk is making of commercialism is making me wary - Nick has said that indigo will always be free and I trust him. Unfortunately, threads...

From my experience, it seems that several instances of Indigo can run quite well even on a single processor machine like this one. With a modified exporter (shouldn't be hard to do in the Blender case for example) you could automatically launch a set of Indigo renders for each light group in paralle...

Open source alternative to NeatImage! (noise removal)
Hi No doubt lots of people here have used NeatImage to perform noise removal on Indigo renders. It is a great program but I am never comfortable using free programs out of a commercial setting (because the product may become commercial, development may stop and so on). So here is what looks like a d...
I would hate to see Ono do the way the author of Toxic. In that instance, the sole author was bought out by a big CG company and his contract forced him to stop working on the project (which was open source). Ono can make money in the following ways. - Develop indigo so more and more "high powered" ...

Interesting font. Personally, I would advise against overlaying text over the main content of the images. It detracts from the clarity of both. Problem is the constraint on banner size. It is tricky. Maybe there isn't enough "real estate" on a banner for text and any text should be put elsewhere. Th...

It would be nice to have some text on the banners. As the images themsleves are a testament to indigo's photorealism and quality (nice work BZ Win) let us emphasis that this quality is available to absolutely everyone! Koba P.S> This was radiance's suggestion (see the thread about the new site). Tha...
