Re: Can't render linked groups

indigo_mesh is an attribute of the blender mesh data, it stores Indigo specific settings found in the mesh panel of Blender.

This attribute I believe my assets do not have, due to them not being saved whilst Indigo exporter was enabled.

But this may not be problem, not sure.

Re: Can't render linked groups

With many objects directly, the file size can become unnecessary and the scene is polluted with many individual (often little) objects/materials which must be managed somehow. Linking groups is the clean way to bring an asset into the scene (one that strictly doesn't need/want further editing/change...

Re: Can't render linked groups

Still have the problem, does anyone else? It's pretty detrimental to usefulness of the exporter.

I found this post from another user with same problem http://www.indigorenderer.com/forum/vie ... 50#p118350

Re: [req] Adjust colour temperature of image in gui

Could also be done in photoshop. It's all about convenience and interaction/tweaking which can help you achieve the better result. Your right though tweaking the light layer can work in a similar way, but setting the light layer temperature damages it's colour in an unattractive way (for example the...

Re: [req] Adjust colour temperature of image in gui

I don't want to set white specifically but instead desire to adjust the temperature (ie warm/cold on a camera)

Re: [req] Adjust colour temperature of image in gui

Well yes of course. The reason is that x/y controls are ridiculous to expect anyone to set manually and the presets are too far between.

[req] Adjust colour temperature of image in gui

It would be convenient to have a colour temperature adjustment in the Indigo GUI. (for the entire image)

Re: Blendigo Wishlist

- Export individual mesh... : This is already possible. Select the desired mesh, go to File > Export > Export IGMESH (or similar, haven't got it open). Cool! did not know - Coating panel: Thought this was put in recently? There is a coating material but you need to specify the base material (subseq...

Can't render linked groups

Hi

I cannot seem to render linked groups at all. (ie a group of objects linked from another .blend)
Tested Blender 2.64 release and Blender 2.65.9 builds.

Code: Select all

[Indigo 2013-Jan-31 19:15:58] 'NoneType' object has no attribute 'indigo_mesh'
Is it a bug or a missing setting?
thanks

Re: frosted/milk glass tip please

Glass accel doesn't work well at all for frosted glass. Maybe it should be "ignored" if possible for glossy glass materials.

Re: Indigo Renderer 3.6.0 Beta Release

And because of that non-linear scale a 0% to 100% slider is quite unusable here! Because of a non linear scale the parameter becomes guesswork unless you have built 100 materials and know the exponent of a similar material by memory . Does something simple like glossiness really need to be like tha...

Re: Indigo Renderer 3.6.0 Beta Release

- 1. It's true that there is absolutely no indication what Exponent is. I'm not sure how we would communicate that to the user. A tooltip might help but it's not very visual. Any suggestions? What about something super simple "Reflection Glossiness" 0-100% as opposed to a range of 0 to bazillion, ma...

Coming from a newbie , maybe you already did but use plain bidir - not MLT, also turn off glass accel for this scene.

Re: Speckle after 5k spp

THanks guys for the tips. I made some adjustments; -Change to plain Bidir, seems smoother overall. -Change lights to IES -Lights are now 4 downlights, 3cm planes -Ies wall lights exerior -walls changed to 65% reflect instead of 80% galinette suggest to increase the light source to help render these ...
