Re: Indigo for Rhino?

Yes... life has been extremely busy past couple of weeks, for me, but hoping to get some time for it again soon.

Have you tried the older exporter?

See how far that gets you in the meantime...

Re: Led lamp optical simulation

Cool stuff! This is where better / more apparent color management tools would really come in handy. We have the ability to export linear / raw EXRs - which is fantastic - but would be great to preview this within Indigo and export images in specific color spaces and formats (and add LUTs :) ) Knowin...

Re: Blendigo 4.0.8

Caught a small bug in the 'export.igmesh' operator.

indigo_exporter->operators->__init__.py-> line 70

It reads:
mesh = obj.to_mesh(self.scene, True, 'RENDER')
But should be:
mesh = obj.to_mesh(context.scene, True, 'RENDER')

[REQ] Deep data support

Deep data ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Deep_image_compositing#Deep_data ) is something that is being used more and more in VFX pipelines for more compositing flexibility and retention of more scene data across the whole pipeline. The EXR 2.0 format already supports deep data ( https://github.com/...

Re: Indigo Renderer 4.0.60 Beta Release

Basically, if there was an option to import some standardized file formats (ie. obj, fbx, abc...) into Indigo Renderer, Blender plugin would be mostly useless. Since now it creates nothing but confusion, problems. Conversely, I've relied on it for the past few years for its simplicity and intuitive...

Re: Indigo Renderer 4.0.60 Beta Release

2. Can't disable or edit Background Environment (no setting present in Blender?). I think this has been brought up before - the background environment settings are not very conveniently accessible in Blendigo. you currently access them through adding a hemi lamp and editing its settings, but it rea...

Re: Updated Blender Plugin

I think I am saying that for many of the Blender users. I would buy Indigo 4 when there would be a good and updated Blender Plugin. I even would donate extra money for a good plugin. So am using the Radeon pro render in the moment, which has a good, but not perfect Blender support. So please Ono an...

Re: [REQ] Alpha as separate pass

Hm.. I don't see why you can't just re-composite the sky back in using Foreground Alpha? The alpha pass gets really tricky once you have glass, fog, other transparent materials, etc. How does your color pass then look to compensate for partially transparent pixels? In my experience the foreground al...

Re: Proxy workflow with Blendigo

Yes, this is the workflow I use as well for large models that tend to be used a lot! Extremely helpful when working with large scenes with loads of hi-poly objects (i.e. forests). Linking vs. appending the decimated model doesn't really make a difference, IMO. I prefer to append. I've been exporting...

Re: RhIndigo - Indigo for Rhinoceros 5.0 thread

@OscarJ and Eneen I have noted these, I've just been very busy with work / life, so hopefully I can make some time to come back to them soon! Right now I'm also trying to decide whether or not to wait for Rhino 6 to make a proper C++ plug-in (the Rhino 5 SDK needs VS2010 which I can't seem to get an...

I export in C4D but then the plugins that we are doing if in the end he uses only one or maybe two (Max)? Que? I hereby express interest. :) Noted ;) I've been quite busy, but if you have a chance to have a play with the current version, maybe let me know what would be the most crucial next feature...
