I checked things and I am currently running Skindigo 3.0.12 and Indigo 3.0.12...

Re: Unwanted mesh smoothing (subdivision?)
Hi Dale, Thank you for the reply. I am back in the office on Tuesday and will check the installed version again. I recall swapping between 3.0.15 , 3.0.14 and 3.0.12. in attempts to solve other things. Your comment makes me want to check again which version I am currently running. I'll get back to y...

Re: Unwanted mesh smoothing (subdivision?)
Sorry to correct you Pibuz .Pibuz wrote:Yes, never spotted before.
It also happens in Skindigo 3.0.14.
(I needed to restore to that version because of the other issue I experienced with 'Can't find Default material'.)

Re: Unwanted mesh smoothing (subdivision?)
Thank you Pibuz .How have you been ?
That comment does help to see that is an issue that can be adressed.
I tried exploding the mesh , and in my case it didn't help.
Perhaps Dale can shine his light on this ...

Unwanted mesh smoothing (subdivision?)
Hi Whaat, Something funny is showing up in my renders. Single surfaces seem to be smoothed , as if the 'soften edges' command is activated....while it is not. It happens on all files in the later versions. Files that did'nt have it in older Indigo versions now suffer from it. Especially when using c...

Re: Error: Can't find material "default"
Hi Whaat,
Thank you for the reply. I hope you have been well
I can confirm it does work in Skindigo 3.0.14 together with Indigo 3.0.12.

Re: Scene parsing error [SOLVED}
Thank you so much CTZn...solved!
I spotted the 'tiles ' SU material, renamed it 'tiles_' and that fixed it.
Simple solution, Tx

Re: Scene parsing error
Thanks Snorky,
I tried that. There is indeed no 'tiles' material and making one with that name doesn't solve it..

Scene parsing error
Hi Whaat and (Sk)Indigo friends, I recently encounter an issue using Indigo and Skindigo (both latest version). This is the error message I get when pushing the render button. E rror: Scene parsing error: Error while binding material 'tiles ' to geometry 'Group#565': No such material defined 'tiles ...

Re: Exterior renders: retreat
Thanks guys.:) @Pibuz, yeah, good to be back :) I relied on Indigo for this one because Skindigo has an easy instancing system. It would never have worked using VrayforSU as it doesn't support proxies and the Fry Render instancing isn't intuitive. Besides that, skindigo still is fun to work with :) ...

Exterior renders: retreat
Hi all, Some recent renderings I would like to share. (Sketchup + (Sk)Indigo 1.1.15) All pretty much straight out of the box, besides a little photoshopping for the flower beds on the roofs. It was a very fast job, and didn't have the time to resolve all the details (the glass volumes, some floating...

Re: Villa
Again you make me jealous as hell.
I always love your texturing.
Any tips you could spill on good texturing that are general enough to be applied to all host apps?
Thanks for sharing this image. Lovely inspiration.
