Re: Flying Thing

I decided to take your advice and leave materials where they are for now and work on other parts of it. So first I'm starting with the camera angle. Here's what I have so far... http://i125.photobucket.com/albums/p50/doublez1/im1240262546.png I think it looks much better already with that. What do ...

(Mostly I need a better steel mat - look at the 'arms' :? - There are a few others that need work too. Also if anyone has an idea...

Re: I hate joomla

I looks good. My only suggestion would be to use the dark gray color at the top all around the white box (so the blue to gray gradient would be gone). And also use a slightly darker color instead of white in the middle. Like this

Don't worry about it.
So far it will work. I just need some sort of cart to put under it so the arms can be pulled away and the vehicle rolled out of the garage.

Do you have a light? The only blender lamp you can use is a sun. You can also use mesh emitters, a env map or "background color" to light the scene. These settings are under the environment tab in the exporter. So, if your using a sun lamp use 'physical sky + sun' and if your using mesh emitters use...

I have a computer control console in the cockpit, I'm just leaving that out of the rendering for now. I could add something on the wall to control things like fueling and what not. How should I keep the thing off the ground? I can't decide between a solid block, a triangle stand, chains, a combinati...
