amazing work drBouvierLeduc! Thanks for taking the time to create and share it. :D However, th erandomize loc/size/rot script is not a blender default. Googling around I ran into this one: http://www.koders.com/python/fidE66DF9E615BA6D8726266F8EA2CC8906E52F7DE6.aspx Is it the same as yours? regards...

Nice tut, though there is no need for the copy+pasting! Use the array modifier instead, you just use 2 and you can have as many as you want in a couple of minutes. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think that the array modifier doesn't use instancing when exported with that version of the exporter (0....

(totally outdated !) Blender to Indigo photorealistic grass

http://www.charlesrazack.com/3d/tuto1/tutograss-0-1.jpg edit : I'm afraid that tutorial is totally oudated now (as of june 2008), you'd rather use an instanced grass patch to get more accurate results. (note : you can download this whole tutorial in pdf ) In this tutorial you will see how to produc...

I played a bit with blender procedural textures to indigo. I don't usually use procedural textures because they look too much cg, but for some particular materials and bump maps in general, they are perfect. The good thing is once you find a nice material, you can use it with any object you want, no...

In order to avoid the seeds, you can use the render baking feature of blender 2.43 like this : (follow the tutorial, except for step 6) STEP 6 : Do not use the script, instead go to "render --> bake-render meshes --> textures only" (ALT + Ctrl B) wich will do better then the script. Here is a quick ...
