Forgot to mention, the clip map and grass texture were blended together.

The grass texture was made by scanning a patch of grass at 600 dpi, and then a clip map (which contains just black and white) was created from this. You have be quite careful to ensure that the edges of the clip map are smooth because it completely ruins the illusion when there are jaggies in the re...
