It's also possible to light a room with sun&sky only. Try to play around with the tonemapping in the latest release of violet, that helps a lot ;) But if you want to combine a sun with other light emitters you will have to play around with the efficiacy value of the meshlight. http://www2.indigorend...

The answer is YES, i think :D
But some things are much easier in maxwell than in indigo. But i think it's only a question of time until indigo is better than maxwell ;)

This would be awesome! I think it woul be very comfortable to work with an external indigo material editor :) I have some suggestions: - The possibility to use Photoshop-like mixing methods for maps would be kicking-a**! For example multiple mapchannels for the color of a material (layer 1: wood, la...

[REQ] Exit Portals

I think that exit portals would be a very nice feature for upcoming indigo versions. They help to get a much nicer lighting for interior scenes and moreover they decrease the rendertimes ;) Here is some information about the usage of exit portals in fryrender: http://fryrender.com/sh_images/tuts/fil...

Cool, didn't hear about that. A "real" material preview would be much nicer than a fake or half-baked one in cindigo, that's right ;)

Wow, procedual support sounds very nice :D

Would it be possible to create some kind of material preview for cindigo? That would be a very nice feature :)

Very nice scene so far :)
How did you setup the tonemapping values? I like the overexposed sky and sunbeams ;)

Sorry, but which Indigo Release is compatible with cindigo 0.8? I tried to render a simple scene with Indigo 0.7 Test 5, 0.7 Test 7 and Indigo 0.8 Test 1+2. 0.8 crashes when loading the xml file and the 0.7's say "Found unexpected element "value" in element "absorption_coefficient_spectrum" The Scen...

Thanks for the quick replies!
Sorry, I forgot to tell you that I use the C4D exporter
By moving the NullObject along C4D's Y Axis, the sky gets a little more blue but I think it could be much more blue (I moved the Sun in C4D to Y 75.000)
I will post the file tonight ;)
