With a super high exponent inside a plastic material...so light can bounce and break.
But no luck.

As for that dark UI: Just checked the source of Illustrator. It seems (to me) they are using a really simple method for the UI's effect. Elements (icons,logos,etc) are created in two versions one light and one dark. And the slider in the pref menu basically just controls the color of the App frame ...

For icons on OSX. Would be awesome to have some .svg format ( resolution independent format ). Just to avoid any "bottlenecks" of multiple resolution screens in the wild. maybe slightly off-topic, but in terms of render visibility, I'd also request a full-screen mode to view your current render (like photoshop's full-screen black background, toggled with the F key) something that would hide all menus and palettes so you just see your image. Alt + enter Ono's Level 9...

Why not saving each LL to a own file and then do your Animation inside a proper Video Editor?? With such a small team like Glare is I would like rather to see them focus on the core features and enhancements instead of bringing stuff that other Software is capable of way better... #DontWasteDevTime...

TABS are a GREAT IDEA!!
