Re: Some night shots
Amazing. The reflection in the picture glass of the emitter inside the floor lamp in the first rendering is a little overpowered.

Re: Shiny Flying Saucers in Pristing Landing Bay
Cool! But that's not the right proportion for a record sleeve? Maybe the picture wraps around to the back? Are you going to add 'yellow pansy' graphics/ track names

Re: New design
Very minimal. Like. Just noticing some awkwardness with the forum headers, seems a little (3x) tall and I can't make out the buttons on the right.

Re: The Bently
sorry for derailing thread, but yeah, I bump my head on it all the time. Plus the vent isn't very effective, and the steam always coats the front of the microwave and the cabinets, and if you have little ones it may be something to consider at what point you want them leaning over the burners...

Re: The Bently
+1 for nixing microwave over the stove at least. I have that arrangement in my kitchen and it's meh.
Maybe to get more 'space' at the window corner you could do radiused open shelving instead of a full cabinet? Then put all your cool glassware there? Would make for a sweet rendering!

Re: The Bently
that is a weird result with the mesh material :| Was it really supposed to be that big, or is that some kind of aliasing artifact? -lazyboy backseat cushion intersects armrest, most noticeable in foreground -more detail to bannister even though it's out of focus? -use exponent/ bump map on backsplas...

Re: 'emitters' and material type
I was running blendigo 2.0.10. Updating to v2.2.1 fixed the problem. It seems there was a bug, or an incompatibility. Thanks for the responses.

'emitters' and material type
The attached images have a difference I was not expecting. The scene has an emitter plane in a black diffuse tube pointed at suzanne. The only difference between the two scenes is that one has a specular emitter and the other a diffuse emitter. Why does the diffuse emitter emit so much more light? W...
