I instanced a few things that were used a lot and was able to render. Just now I instanced everything that could be (somethings need to be mirrored still), so I should be in a lot better shape now.

Thanks guys

That's what I was thinking. I was mirroring everything but I ran out of ram just now on a test render so I need to figure out how to save some memory.

Instance or Mirror

If I have a few objects that need to be on both sides of an axis, would it be more memory efficient to instance all of them or mirror half of them?

Unless I am mistaken, this section of the forum is called "requests". If I was going to do them myself, I dont see why I would even bother making a post. I just would have made them and uploaded them to the db. The problem? Indigo has very little documentation and so it boils down to a lot of trial...

You are never going to get better if you don't try. Why don't you put in a real attempt at these yourself. Then ask for tips if you are having troubles.

Have you tried unwrapping your mesh? You don't have to put a texture on it though. Go into face select mode (when in object mode press 'f') then press 'u' and choose 'unwrap' Right-o but he shouldnt getting that error if opened blender's default scene and pressed export. Which is what i think he tr...

Not really. I already know the current UI and don't want to have to learn a new one. Hopefully it's not changed to much. It's actually pretty easy once you learn it. Sure it's confusing at first, but I think any program with lots of features would be confusing at first.

You really think that having to select hundreds of files and delete them all isn't a drag? In any case, I think that there are better options out there.. Is it really that hard to press ctrl+a > delete ? It only takes 2 seconds. And if theres a few you want to save just diselect those ones. Your fi...

I like the first and last ones the most. I'm not much of a fan the bloom.

So far I'm really liking instances. Was able to render this pretty easily.
